With wildfire season right around the corner, SDG&E invites community members to attend one of five Drive-Thru Wildfire Safety Fairs taking place throughout the summer. The first event will take place on Saturday, May 8 at Mountain Empire High School in Pine Valley.
At each of the free Wildfire Safety Fairs, attendees will have the opportunity to drive through and gather information from industry experts about wildfire safety and Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) and receive free emergency kit backpacks filled with supplies. Inside the backpacks are medical-grade face masks, water pouches, bandages, flashlight, duct tape, whistle, light sticks and other items*.
