This Arbor Day, grab your shovel, roll up your sleeves and plant a tree with SDG&E. Whether you plant a tree in your own backyard or join a community event to plant in a local park, you can help to beautify our communities and expand our regional tree canopy!
SDG&E is proud to support our municipal partners by donating trees to various Arbor Day events across our service territory. Below is a list of community events to celebrate Arbor Day that could use some volunteer support:

If you can’t make it to an Arbor Day event, you can still participate in this annual celebration of trees by planting a tree in your yard or in a pot on your porch or patio. SDG&E offers several tree planting programs, including the popular Community Tree Rebate Program, which gives SDG&E customers in qualifying zip codes a rebate of $25, $35 or $50 to plant a tree from our list of close to 50 eligible species. Learn more about all of SDG&E’s tree programs and our sustainability commitment to help our customers plant more than 10,000 trees each year.
